What to look for: Mesh vests breathe better for summer and warehouse work. Solid vests hold up better outdoors and in wind. Pocketed styles matter if you're carrying a radio, tape or phone. Class 2 covers most road, utility, warehouse and parking work — step up to Class 3 for highway or night work.
